As part of the ongoing actions to promote employment and improve the economy in all regions and municipalities of the state, the Government of Zacatecas, through the Ministry of Economy, continues to deliver self-employment grants and conduct courses to learn a trade; this time, 70 women from Pánuco and Trancoso benefited from these programs.
As a reflection of the state administration’s commitment to the generation of dignified employment and social inclusion as key elements to achieve peace, support was provided through the «Employment for Well-being» program, through which self-employment courses were conducted in various municipalities of the state, covering a wide range of disciplines such as cleaning product manufacturing, jewelry making, baking and pastry, beauty, hair cutting, fruit and vegetable preserves, artisanal weaving, among others.
Rodrigo Castañeda Miranda, Secretary of Economy, congratulated the beneficiaries who learned the trades of pastry making and cleaning product manufacturing, and emphasized that work is a human right, as it dignifies people, provides economic stability and well-being to families, and is a fundamental element for achieving peace.
Likewise, he reaffirmed the commitment of the Government of Zacatecas to women, to provide them with courses and support to help them start their own businesses.
Jaime Pinales Rodríguez, Deputy Secretary of the National Employment Service, pointed out that self-employment grants contribute to improving family income and the development of the local economy, and invited job seekers to visit the regional offices of the National Employment Service, where they can receive advice on these grants and other job placement services.
Under the vision of Governor David Monreal Ávila, the state administration reaffirms its commitment to the generation of employment and the empowerment of vulnerable groups, offering real opportunities to the people of Zacatecas to promote the construction of peace, well-being, and progress.
