Zacatecas, Zac. – In a move to invigorate economic growth and foster entrepreneurship within the state, the Government of Zacatecas, under the leadership of Governor David Monreal Ávila, has launched the «Tu Primer Negocio» (Your First Business) program. This initiative is designed to support entrepreneurs, micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MiPyMEs), and migrants through the provision of equipment and specialized guidance.
Economy Secretary Jorge Miranda Castro emphasized that «Tu Primer Negocio» is a key component of the state administration’s strategies to stimulate job creation, innovation, and the strengthening of the local economic fabric. He stated that this support scheme aims to equip entrepreneurs with the necessary tools to enhance their production, efficiency, and market competitiveness.
«In Zacatecas, we are committed to those who aspire to start or solidify their first business,» affirmed Miranda Castro. «We want to accompany them in this process and provide them with the necessary equipment so that their projects become engines of economic development in their communities.»
The program features two distinct tracks: «Tu Primer Negocio Migrante» (Your First Business Migrant), which offers up to 200,000 pesos in equipment to Zacatecan migrants residing abroad or beneficiaries of the Labor Mobility Program for their productive ventures.
The second track, «Tu Primer Negocio,» is aimed at entrepreneurs and established MiPyMEs within Zacatecas, providing access to up to 120,000 pesos in equipment.
Key requirements for participation include a current quotation for the requested equipment (dated within the last 90 days), a tax identification certificate, four photographs of the business or project (two exterior and two interior) or the proposed location, a detailed business plan, and, for the Migrant track, a proposal endorsed by the Secretary of Zacatecan Migrants, along with affiliation with a migrant club or proof of foreign residency.
Priority consideration will be given to projects led by individuals aged 18 to 35, people with disabilities, senior citizens, victims of violence, and migrants, aligning with the «Zacatecas te Abraza Paisano» (Zacatecas Welcomes You Compatriot) strategy.
Secretary Miranda Castro underscored that these actions reflect Governor David Monreal Ávila’s commitment to enhancing the well-being of Zacatecan families by generating business opportunities and strengthening the local economy.
