The National System for the Comprehensive Development of the Family (SNDIF) released the preliminary results of the 2024 National Consultation «Do You Hear Me?», in which girls, boys, and adolescents from all over the country participated. The participation of Zacatecan children stands out, with nearly 28,000 surveys and drawings applied.
At an event led by the National Director of SNDIF, Nuria Fernández Espresate, it was announced that Zacatecan children had a successful participation, applying 27,686 surveys and drawings, which will guide the development of public policies that will enrich the agenda for this group of society.
Zacatecan girls, boys, and adolescents, who are part of the Network of Transformation Promoters, participated in this activity, highlighting that the application of this consultation was cost-free, as working together between the National, State, and municipal DIF Systems, the number of applications exceeded the previous one.
The Honorary President of the State System for the Comprehensive Development of the Family (SEDIF), Sara Hernández de Monreal, thanked for making visible the children housed in the Casa Hogar through these activities.
During the presentation of preliminary results, held at the Los Pinos Cultural Complex, the Director of Legal Analysis of SNDIF, Carlos Torres Camacho, reported that 1,909,250 girls, boys, and adolescents were registered in the National Consultation «Do You Hear Me?».
Among the proposals made to children and adolescents, it stands out what they would like to change to improve where they live, with responses focusing on environmental care, improvement of services and food, healthy community living, respect for pets, as well as the need to promote respect and values as a mechanism to achieve peace.
