In a joint and coordinated operation, elements of the Immediate Reaction Force Zacatecas (FRIZ) of the State Preventive Police, in collaboration with the Mexican Army and the National Guard, provided support to the Investigation Police of the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Zacatecas (FGJEZ) in executing a search warrant at a property located in the municipality of Guadalupe.
During the operation, four individuals were arrested, identified as Rafael N., 24 years old, originally from Oaxaca; Jorge Alberto N., 22 years old, from Guanajuato; Pedro N., 19 years old, from Guerrero; and Michelle N., 31 years old, from Zacatecas.
These individuals were found in possession of a long firearm, an R-15 type; a short firearm; four magazines for firearms; 20 bags containing green and dry plant material resembling marijuana; and six bags with suspected methamphetamine.
As a result of the above, the four individuals were arrested, and along with the weapons and suspected drugs, they were placed at the disposal of the competent authority for the necessary legal investigation.
This outcome is the result of intelligence actions and the coordinated effort of the Security Forces, whose objective is to reduce crime rates in the state and ensure the safety of the people of Zacatecas.
