The Great Day of the Dead Parade 2024 «We Are Traditions» took place in the Historic Center of Zacatecas, with the participation of more than 70,000 attendees.
Organized by Sara Hernández de Monreal and with Michoacán as the guest state, the event celebrated the traditions of honoring the deceased through costumes, floats, and artistic performances.
The monarch butterflies from Michoacán and the music from various groups, including the Guadalupe Symphony Band, stood out.
The parade also paid tribute to the Zacatecan artist Rafael Coronel and the anniversary of the Taking of Zacatecas, showcasing the cultural richness of the state and the unity of its inhabitants in a festive and family-friendly atmosphere.
Attendance surpassed previous editions, reflecting the community’s love for traditions and the arts.
