The program «Transforming the children of Zacatecas with values, through virtual reality», carried out by the Government of Zacatecas, headed by the state governor David Monreal Ávila, reached the municipality of Fresnillo, where hundreds of people had the opportunity to experience part of the Zacatecan culture through virtual reality headsets.
With a progress of more than 20 percent of the projected coverage for this program, the Deputy Director of Attention to Vulnerable Groups of the State System for the Integral Development of the Family (SEDIF), Rosa Esther Rentería, reported that 14,460 people, including adolescents and adults from different municipalities, have been served.
During the visit to the municipality of Fresnillo, children, adolescents, and adults witnessed this virtual reality project and shared their experience of getting to know the innovative program, which they described as a success of the Government of Zacatecas, combining technology with education, helping attendees to better understand the state.
Users of the Plateros Elderly Care Center shared that it is a different experience that allows them to travel and visit different places in the capital, so they requested to continue visiting more municipalities, as it is an enriching experience.
