Due to the demand for spots to study a career at the Technological University of the State of Zacatecas (Utzac), and in order to ensure that all young people have access to education, this institution remains open during the July vacation period.
Rector Gonzalo Franco Garduño reported that Utzac continues to receive applicants to enroll in the various educational programs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; he emphasized that on this occasion there will be no admission exam.
We are aware that our youth require access to education and, as Governor David Monreal Ávila has stated, we prefer to have them inside the classrooms studying; therefore, this University remains open during the vacation period indicated by the calendar of Technological Universities.
He assured that there are still spaces available in most careers; therefore, «we invite you to come to the best Technological University in Zacatecas to continue preparing for a better future and to do so in a timely manner, as there is no admission exam, once you enroll, you will have a guaranteed spot.»
Among the advantages of studying at Utzac are not only a conducive and peaceful environment, but also top-notch facilities, practice laboratories, sports fields, and cultural spaces to ensure comprehensive development.
The cost per semester is 1,600 pesos (from the second to sixth semester); only the first semester is 2,700 pesos for registration and the first semester, accident insurance payment, diagnostic exam payment and preparatory course, as well as a welcome kit.
In the case of Physical Therapy and Mining careers, the payment for the first semester is 3,250 pesos, for registration and the first semester; however, both careers are currently at maximum student capacity.
For those looking to work in a mining company, there are educational offers where many people are hired, such as Mechatronics; Industrial and Manufacturing; Industrial Maintenance; Sustainable and Renewable Energies, as well as Marketing and Human Capital Management.
