Within the preliminary results of the National Consultation ¿Me Escuchas? 2024, different issues in the environment of childhood have been identified; through a survey, more than 950,000 children revealed that they are happy at home with their family and nearly 700,000 said that being alone makes them feel sad.
Rosa Esther Rentería, deputy director of Attention to Vulnerable Groups of the State System for the Integral Development of the Family (SEDIF), reported that in Zacatecas, close to 28,000 surveys were conducted, in contrast to the first one, carried out in 2022, in which more than 11,000 minors participated.
She announced that the final results will be announced in August, which are of utmost importance, because children set the pace for these to be taken to the State Congress and laws to protect and defend them to be developed.
She reiterated the commitment of the Honorary President of SEDIF, Sara Hernández de Monreal, to work tirelessly in favor of children, adolescents, and the elderly, through the prevention programs undertaken by this agency.
