To comply with Governor David Monreal Ávila’s policy of being a municipalist administration; in the 2024 edition of the Municipal Performance Consultative Guide (GDM), 25 demarcations properly concluded the implementation stages, which consist of diagnosis, improvement, and review.

The State Planning Coordinator, Ruth Angélica Contreras Rodríguez, reported that the Guide aims to contribute to the institutional development of municipalities, so that they have better legal, technical, and administrative foundations for decision-making during their term of office.

She highlighted that the registered municipalities were measured through 115 indicators from eight modules. In 2022, 27 municipalities completed the GDM implementation process; for 2023, the year with the highest number of completed registrations, there were 31.
