Fueron galardonados cinco destacados: Ilse Ariadna Guerrero (atletismo), Luis Jos茅 Medina Fuentes (karate do) y Domingo Gonz谩lez Ram铆rez (ciclismo), entre otros.
En presencia del director del Incufidez, 脡dgar Javier Rodarte, Monreal llam贸 a las ligas a trabajar en unidad. Anunci贸 la pr贸xima inauguraci贸n de tres nuevos gimnasios de Alto Rendimiento Zacatecas.
Juego clasificatorio mundial de Basquetbol
La ceremonia cont贸 con la presencia de figuras de la Selecci贸n Mexicana de Basquetbol, como el entrenador Omar Quintero. El Gobernador resalt贸 el juego Clasificatorio Mundial Basquetbol contra Rep煤blica Dominicana, con boletos agotados en una hora.
El entrenador Luis Jos茅 Medina agradeci贸 el compromiso y dedic贸 el premio a las familias y a su equipo, enfatizando que la disciplina es un valor de vida.

Governor David Monreal 脕vila announced that his administration will strengthen the Sports budget Zacatecas for 2026 during the State Sports Award 2025 ceremony. The increase is part of an integral strategy to strengthen values and community development.
Honoring athletes and coaches
The awards were given to five recipients, including Ilse Ariadna Guerrero (Athlete of the Year, athletics) and Luis Jos茅 Medina Fuentes (Coach of the Year, karate do).
Monreal emphasized that sports are one of the best public investments due to their impact on health and social pacification. He instructed authorities to ensure Zacatecas athletes travel with the best uniforms and resources.
World Cup Qualifier in Zacatecas
The Governor highlighted that Zacatecas will host a World Cup Basketball qualifier game between Mexico and the Dominican Republic on November 28th. The tickets for the game, a historic first for the state, sold out in less than an hour.
The Governor also announced the upcoming inauguration of three new high-performance gyms and a process to dignify existing sports spaces.
